i got love for the city manee

i’ve never really showed appreciation for the “city” known more frequently as baltimore. i’ve always expressed displeasure with baltimore for their extreme roughness, extreme crack usership-ness, and extreme slang that no one can comprehend, i never tried to understand it really. but this past summer, i’ve been in/around the city more than ever, and i love it manee. i’ve met the wildest people known to the globe in the city, just how they live life is great. they don’t waste a second to get a thrill.

i don’t know what exactly i tried to hate about baltimore, maybe its cause i’m just a DC enthusiast to the fullest, who knows. but i have a greater appreciation for the city now, it’s never sleeping (f*ck NYC), always something to do, always someone to talk to, it ain’t dyin’ manee. i used to strictly experience baltimore through The Wire, ranking as one of the best urban television series to hit HBO and to my surprise, the show portrays exactly how the inner-city of baltimore is, no joke. i’ve seen sh!t go down, and it goes down dogg. i’ve tried to shake off, failure. i’ve tried to comprehend their unique lingo, near fail. and i’m still tryna paint a map of the inner-city streets in my mind, and its going pretty well.

but real talk, i think i love the city, and i’m not losing any type of love for DC- i can get to my two favorite cities off one road 95! whoaa we outcheaa!

six-figure, money-maker.

August 11, 2008

i saw this ferrari today in DC and it made me want to reflect on a lot of things and think about my lifetime goals. the school year is around the corner and i realized that i need to step my game up in life, period. along with getting a high GPA , joining all school clubs, and racking up crazy amounts of community service this year, i threw up a new goal…to be making a minimum of six-figures. i need to live large and the largest people have money to throw around like it’s water. so that’ll be me whether you want it or not, and with money comes fame, so i need to be famous too. be on the lookout for me doing huge things to get an inch closer to fame, we need more black celebrities and for legit reasons, we are losing too many great blacks [rip bernie mac].

during my DC excursion yesterday i realized that i didn’t have the appropriate cashflow to purchase everything that i truly desired. i wasn’t comfortable with that situation at all, it kind of urked me, like those kids at camp. so yett another wonderful plan of mine had emerged to the surface: the six-figure, money-maker blueprint. i’ll be doing everything in my power so i am able to walk in the club looking like that guy and breaking out into this song-
while throwing twenties at the most wholesome looking chicks.

so this is my goal and it needs to be reached by the age of 30, before my hair starts receding, that’s just not cool. however, in order for me to embark on this mission, i need donations from everyone! lol gottem.

08.09.09 – DC excursion [rip bernie mac]

August 10, 2008

i love this beat-

today me and anthony went on a DC excursion hitting up adams morgan and the area of georgetown. as well as making a quick appearance at the mongolian barbeque in bethesda for an old friend’s suprise birthday party. the day was a tad bit rough, we spent a great portion walking around the various streets and riding the metro. and i must recommend that the public not rely on the metro for anything, delays are numerous and life’s precious minutes are wasted.

check the pickups:

three stussy tees x a single c’mon tee x blackberry curve gold x van authentics true whites x van authentics cobalt x single vineyard vine’s polo x obama tee.

let me spread the story on how i scooped each one of these prized possessions. we started the day around 11 this morning, taking silver spring all the way to fort dupont to check the stussy and c’mon boutiques. stussy had a giant sale, as did c’mon, so i scooped the 4 tee’s easy. then we made a detour from DC to Bethesda to make a cameo appearance at a friend’s surprise party [happy birthday alame!] also met up with the cuzzo to collect the vineyard vine’s polo and this crackberry curve in mint condition, it was necessary that i got on a blackberry it’s just one of my many moves. and i am personally in love with this curve, as well as many other physical curves, i just couldn’t wait for the bold. from the lunch we went straight to georgetown’s major, urban outfitters [where the obama tee was scooped], ralph-lauren, and various other boutiques on M St. – Wisconsin Ave. we weren’t too happy with what we found at the stores, so not much was purchased there. then we ended the day by making our way back to silver spring, so all in all it was quite successful. definitely got an exercise which helps my health-fitness plan.
